This year once again we were able to enjoy the Naperville Rib fest over the July 4th weekend. This is the first year Nichelle and Mike were able to join us.
On Friday night Nichelle, Mike and I hit the Ribfest. We sampled a lot of great ribs.
Mike left early to go to a movie, while Nichelle and I hung out for a great concert!! We saw David Nail and Phil Vasser. The music was awesome, the crowd was light and the weather was perfect!!
On Saturday we took the whole family. We went to see Styx. When we got there it was packed! We found a small spot of ground and decided to go to the other side of the park to eat ribs…that way we could avoid the huge crowd. However, when it was time to go back the park was overcrowded so we could not get back to our small spot of ground. So instead we watched some guitarist. It was really good, but a total let down as we were planning for Styx.
We did enjoy some great ribs and pulled pork sandwiches….
We even sent Tennyson in as our secret spy to get the low down on how they are made..
It was a great family night!!!!!
We love the Naperville Ribfest!!!!!
