We enjoyed a great week with Golda and Shaylin. Sadly, Shaylin will be living in Provo this summer so she can find a job. The job market in Naperville is not very bright.
We spent the first day touring the sights of Chicago, or in other words the big buildings. We started by going to the top of the Willis Tower.
Shaylin was very brave this time and even laid on the glass over hang. Last time we went she hesitated. Golda could not bring her self to step out on the glass ledge.
We walked over to Macy’s for a great lunch. It was a little cold out so the walk was not Golda’s favorite activity. The food was sooo good! We ate in the Walnut Room (Opened in 1907, it's one of Chicago's most beloved landmarks. You can still sit by the 17-foot marble fountain, amid the original Circassian Walnut paneling and Austrian chandeliers and enjoy a traditional potpie made from Mrs. Hering's original recipe.)
We than drove down the Mag Mile. We had a fun day in the heart of Chicago.
